For Thanksgiving, I opted not to drive down to family in Wisconsin; Maggie
had to work & couldn't come up. My good friends invited me
their big family get-together at their daughter's home with her BIG
family. THANKS ... GUYS!
The deer season is almost over ... then ... I'll probably start putting
out a little corn for the deer. The bear have probably gone to
bed? We have a light snow cover, but, the deer can still find
lots of grass to graze. They've probably eaten all the apples by
now.
I wish that someone in the neighborhood would get some
logging done ... that's the perfect way to have fat deer come thru the
winter1! "Managed Woodlots" ... that's the way to responsibly
maintain your forested land.

CSTThe STS-126 crew spent its final full day in space Saturday. The crew tested
space shuttle Endeavour's flight control surfaces and reaction control system
thrusters in preparation for a Sunday landing. The two landing opportunities at
Kennedy Space Center are for 12:19 p.m. and 1:54 p.m. EST. However, an
unfavorable weather forecast in Florida called for two more landing
opportunities at Edwards Air Force Base in California at 4:25 p.m. and 6
p.m

I am so glad that friends invited you over for Thanksgiving. Bet those deer and turkeys are watching out for your corn. We may have some some snow flurries here today. Burrr, it's already cold enough for me sitting here with an ice pack to my back. That coffee warmer is something new to my knowledge.
